To celebrate the 2018 Saltire Festival in East Lothian, we recently hosted a 4 day visit by 3 people from Champigny-sur-Marne.
The visitors enjoyed two concerts in the Saltire Festival programme.

We also visited the Flag Heritage Centre at Athelstaneford.

Continuing the musical theme from the concerts, we visited Edinburgh University's Music Museum at St. Cecilia's Hall.

During their stay our visitors also visited the Seabird Centre in North Berwick, the Scottish Ornithology Club's Waterston House in Aberlady,
Gladstone's Land, and the National Gallery.

On their last day they visited the new V&A Museum in Dundee before returning to Musselburgh
to take part in the Torchlight Procession and the Christmas Lights switch-on.
There they were able to listen to and renew acquaintances with members of the Clark Community Choir who have been to Champigny,
and some present and past local councillors.

The relatively poor weather did not dampen the enjoyment of the long weekend.
