This page shows some pictures of the Scottish weekend which took place from Fri. 23rd - Mon. 26th April, 2010 and was based at Bonaly, near Edinburgh.
On Friday, the early arrivals had a walking tour of Musselburgh before moving into the Scout Centre at Bonaly.
On Saturday, we walked down the Water of Leith from Colinton Village,
through Edinburgh,
to the sea at Newhaven...
...and we still had enough energy for a Scottish Country Dancing lesson at Bonaly.
On Sunday, we made a circular walk in the Pentland Hills.
There were some steep climbs ...
a rest in picturesque Swanston Village ...
Afterwards, we relaxed over dinner at Bonaly.
On Monday, our guests had some free time in Edinburgh.
